This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds are issued for purchases made through our web application, which uses Paddle Checkout for both subscription-based and single payment transactions. HakiAI is a platform that generates artistic images using credits, and we are an individual software developer, not a business entity. Please read this policy carefully to understand our refund practices.
1. Types of Purchases
HakiAI offers two types of purchases:
- Single Payments: These are one-time purchases of credits that can be used to generate artistic images.
- Subscriptions: These are recurring payments that provide access to a certain number of credits on a monthly or annual basis.
2. Refund Eligibility
Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis and are subject to the following conditions:
- Single Payments: Refunds for single payments are generally not offered unless there is a technical issue that prevents the use of purchased credits. In such cases, a refund request must be made within 7 days from the date of purchase.
- Subscriptions: Refunds for subscriptions are not offered for partial months or years. However, if you encounter a technical issue that prevents the use of your subscription, you may request a refund within 7 days from the date of the recurring payment.
3. No Refund Conditions
The following conditions are non-refundable:
- Image Generation: No refunds will be issued if you have generated more than 5 images using your credits.
- Purchase Timeframe: No refunds will be issued for purchases made more than 7 days ago.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Contact Us: Send an email to ananabiltant99@gmail.com with the subject line Refund Request.
- Provide Details: Include your order number, the date of purchase, and a detailed description of the issue you encountered.
- Await Response: We will review your request and respond within 3-5 business days with further instructions.
5. Refund Processing
If your refund request is approved:
- Single Payments: The refund will be processed through Paddle Checkout, and the amount will be credited back to the original payment method within 5-10 business days.
- Subscriptions: For subscription refunds, the amount will be credited back to the original payment method within 5-10 business days. Please note that refunds for subscriptions will not affect the ongoing subscription, which will continue unless you cancel it separately.
6. Cancellation of Subscriptions
If you wish to cancel your subscription:
- Self-Service Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through the Subscription tab in the Settings section of our web application at https://hakiai.com/settings.
- No Refund for Partial Periods: Cancellation of a subscription does not entitle you to a refund for the unused portion of the subscription period.
7. Technical Issues
If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using your credits or subscription, please contact us immediately at ananabiltant99@gmail.com. We will work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. If the issue cannot be resolved, a refund may be considered.
8. Non-Refundable Items
The following items are non-refundable:
- Used Credits: Credits that have been used to generate images are non-refundable.
- Partial Subscription Periods: Refunds are not offered for partial subscription periods.
- Image Generation: No refunds will be issued if you have generated more than 5 images using your credits.
- Purchase Timeframe: No refunds will be issued for purchases made more than 7 days ago.
9. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised policy on our website. Your continued use of HakiAI after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Refund Policy.
